March for Animal Rights in solidarity with other justice causes
Time: Sunday, January 21, 2018 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
After a year since Trump’s inauguration, many leading justice movements are converging for a day of action and marching in cities across the country. We will mobilize our animal rights community to send a strong message that other species matter, that we can no longer turn a blind eye to their injustice, and we will help people connect the dots between animal rights, human rights and environmental justice. We are all part of the same struggle. It is up to us to educate and demonstrate why other species must be part of the broader intersectional justice movement.
Please join us and share this event with anyone and everyone who you think may be interested. We will be posting updates as needed so please set your notifications so you receive alerts. We will provide signs and carry a large banner. The animal rights contingency at this larger action is being organized by Free from Harm and Chicago Animal Save.
