March’s Outreach for Carriage Horses
March 31 is Cesar Chavez Day. As most of you probably know, Chavez was a great leader for the underdog.
Please join us on this holiday for a peaceful hour where we will educate the public on why Chicago needs to ban horse carriages. We will hand out flyers, hold signs and ask people to sign our petition and send a postcard to their alderman or to the Mayor.
All materials will be provided, so all you need to do is show up! 🙂
“I became a vegetarian after realizing that animals feel afraid, cold, hungry and unhappy like we do. I feel very deeply about vegetarianism and the animal kingdom. It was my dog Boycott who led me to question the right of humans to eat other sentient beings.” Cesar Chavez
